`MovToGif` ("the App") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is handled, and what choices you have as a user.

## 1. Information We Access

MovToGif does not require account registration, login, or server-side profile creation. However, in order to provide its core features, the App may access the following:

### 1) Photo Library Access

The App may request permission to access your photo library so you can choose a video to convert into a GIF.

- Purpose: To let you select a video for conversion

- When access occurs: Only when you explicitly use the video selection feature

- Processing method: Only the item you choose is processed on your device

If you choose to save a converted GIF to your Photos library, the App may also request the permission required to write that file.

- Purpose: To save the converted GIF to your Photos library

- When access occurs: Only when you explicitly use the save feature

### 2) Selected Videos and Converted GIF Files

To preview, trim, convert, save, and share your content, the App may temporarily handle the video you selected and the GIF file generated from it within your device storage.

- Purpose: Video preview, trimming, GIF conversion, saving, and sharing

- Processing location: On your device

- External transmission: None

## 2. Information We Do Not Collect

MovToGif does not currently collect or transmit the following:

- Name, email address, or phone number

- Location data

- Contacts

- Advertising identifiers

- Payment information

- Analytics or usage tracking data

- Tracking data for advertising purposes

The App also does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

## 3. Purpose of Processing

The App only accesses user-selected content for the following purposes:

- Selecting and loading a video

- Previewing and trimming a selected segment

- Creating a GIF

- Saving or sharing the generated GIF

The App does not use your selected videos or generated GIFs for any unrelated purpose.

## 4. Sharing with Third Parties

MovToGif does not share your personal data, selected videos, or generated GIF files with the developer or any third party.

Exceptions may apply only in the following cases:

- You explicitly share a file using the iOS share sheet

- You explicitly save a file to the Photos app

- Disclosure is required by law

## 5. Storage and Retention

The App may create temporary files during GIF conversion. These files may be automatically removed during processing or managed within the App's local storage.

Converted GIF files may also be stored inside the App's local storage on your device until you delete them or remove the App.

If you save a GIF to the Photos app, that file will then be managed by Apple Photos and your device or iCloud settings.

## 6. International Transfer

MovToGif does not send your personal data to the developer's servers and does not transfer your personal data internationally.

If you independently use Apple services such as iCloud Photos, those services are governed by Apple's own policies.

## 7. Children's Privacy

MovToGif is not designed to intentionally collect personal data from children and does not knowingly collect such information.

## 8. Your Choices

You may control how the App accesses your data in the following ways:

- You can allow or deny photo library access.

- You can change previously granted permissions in `Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos` on your iPhone.

- You can delete files stored within the App.

- You can delete GIFs saved to the Photos app directly from Photos.

## 9. Security

MovToGif is designed to process selected videos and GIFs on-device whenever possible. However, security may also depend on your device environment, operating system settings, and the way you choose to share files.

## 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's features, legal requirements, or operating policies change. If material changes are made, notice may be provided through the blog or the App's distribution page.
